David Horsey remporte le Made in Denmark avec un score total de -13, deux coups d’avance sur le suédois Kristoffer Broberg ce dimanche sur l’Himmerland Golf and Spa resort.

Le joueur Anglais de 30 ans a mené le tournoi dès le premier jour, rendant des cartes sous le par (63, 67, 68) mais a été plus en difficulté aujourd’hui avec une carte de 73 (3 bogeys pour 1 birdie).

Horsey shows staying power to win in Denmark

Broberg T2, revient de loin et sort une superbe carte de 62 (-9) lors du dernier tour qui le fait grimper de 50 places au classement. Il est a égalité avec 3 autres joueurs à -11.

Le premier Français est Victor Riu qui gagne 24 places aujourd’hui avec une dernière carte de 67 (comme hier), qui le place à la 11e position à -8.

Benjamin Hebert est 14e à -7, comme Julien Guerrier,  et gagne lui aussi quelques places aujourd’hui grace à une belle carte de 69.

Jean Batiste Gonnet est le Français qui remonte le plus au classement avec 53 places de gagnées et un superbe 65 le dernier jour. Il termine T20 à -6.

Joël Stalter termine la compétition à la 67e place.

• His fourth European Tour International Schedule victory in his 191st European Tour event.

• Moves to 402,839 points in The Race to Dubai.

• Could move to inside the top 160 in the Official World Golf Ranking, from 274th.

• His first victory since the 2014 M2M Russian Open.

• The second time during his European Tour career has won in consecutive seasons. The first time was in 2010-2011. In 2010 he won his first title, the BMW International Open and in 2011, the Trophée Hasan II.

• This victory beats his previous best 2015 European Tour performance of tied tenth in the Tshwane Open.

• Victory comes in his second appearance in the Made in Denmark.

• This victory beats his previous best performance in the Made in Denmark of tied 39th in 2014.

• Becomes the first Englishman to win the Made in Denmark.

• Becomes the second player from the United Kingdom to win the Made in Denmark following Scotland’s Marc Warren in 2014, winning the inaugural event.

• The third of his four European Tour titles where he has led or shared the lead going into the final round. He led by one after 54 holes in the 2011 Trophée Hassan II, by four at the 2014 M2M Russian Open and one in the 2015 Made in Denmark.

• Becomes his second consecutive European Tour victory where he has led wire-to-wire, following the 2014 M2M Russian Open.

• Becomes the third wire-to-wire winner of the 2015 European Tour season. He joins Branden Grace (Alfred Dunhill Championship) and Jordan Spieth (Masters Tournament). All three players won in wire-to-wire fashion with no ties in any rounds.
